Nero Burning ROM, commonly called Nero, is an optical disc authoring program from Nero AG. The software is part of the Nero Multimedia Suite, but it is also available as a stand-alone product. It is used for burning and copying optical discs such as CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray. The program also supports the label printing technologies LightScribe and LabelFlash and can be used to convert audio files into other audio formats.
Nero Burning ROM is only available for Microsoft Windows. A Linux-compatible version was available from 2005 to 2012, but it has since been discontinued. In newer versions, media can be added to compilations via the Nero MediaBrowser. Nero AirBurn, a new feature in Nero 2015, enables users to burn media straight from their mobile devices.
Nero Burning ROM works with a number of optical disc image formats, including the raw uncompressed image using the ISO9660 standard and the Nero's proprietary NRG file format. Depending on the version, additional image formats may be supported. To use non-natively supported formats such as lossless FLAC, Wavpack, and Shorten, additional program modules must be installed. The modules are also known as plug-ins and codecs and are usually free, though Nero AG sells some proprietary video and audio plug-ins. Standard CD images created by Nero products have the filename extension .NRG, but users can also create and burn normal ISO images.

Installation guide

1) First, make sure your antivirus is disabled and make sure you do not connect to the Internet !

2) Select the executable file Setup.exe and start installing

3) At the beginning of the install, you will be prompted to select one of the two serials in the "Serials.txt" file.

4) At the end of installation, check the "Enable automatic update notification" check box to let you even get a new update message.

5) Run the "Nero2018_v19.x_Patch_DFoX_v2.6.exe" file as Run as Administrator. Click on the Patch option to fully activate your software and register the original serials (be sure to completely close your software before patch operation).

6) Run the software and go to the Nero Control Center. The Nero 2018 Platinum serial must be registered to you. If not registered, you can manually enter the serial file in the Serials.txt file. Be sure to delete the Demo and Trial serials from the list and only the Platinum serial is on the list.

7) For sure, block the software executable files by your firewall so that after the activation of the Internet, your licenses are not deactivated.

8) Remove any other serials that are on the list. Connect your Internet connection and enjoy the software.
